An Overview of Agile Methodologies
Overview/Description
This course provides learners with an overview of some of the key methodologies that have contributed to the range of tools and practices available to agile practitioners. Included is a discussion of Extreme Programming (XP), the methods of Lean Software Development, and an introduction to the Crystal methodologies. The course highlights key distinguishing features of these methodologies and important agile principles and practices they employ. Also covered are some of the core process-based methodologies, including a look at Feature Driven Development (FDD), the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), and the Agile Unified Process (AUP). This course is intended for project managers, program managers, or anyone who wants to efficiently participate in projects that experience frequent change in the project requirements. It is aligned with the Agile Certified Practitioner exam objectives developed by the Project Management Institute® and Certified ScrumMaster learning objectives.
