Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V: Installing Hyper-V
Overview/Description
There are a number of deployment methods available when configuring Windows Server 2008 for Hyper-V, and it is important to be able to determine which deployment option for use within your environment. This course provides information on the deployment options for Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2. The installation of Hyper-V on Windows Server 2008 and on Windows Server Core is also described, as well as the installation of Windows Hyper-V Server. High availability is essential for any production Hyper-V environment. Losing a single server can cause serious issues, using a host server and all of it's VMâs can be catastrophic. This course details some of the options offered for providing highly available Hyper-V solutions so that lost of availability and the issues that arise can be avoided.
